Mama passed away very early yesterday morning. Although it is a very sad time for the family, we are so thankful that she is now at peace and no longer suffering. Mama was a joyful and inspiring lady that I will admire always. What a blessing it is to be her great-granddaughter and to have known such an amazing woman. She will truly be missed! We also take great comfort in knowing that she can now watch over Baby Madeline. The only regret I had with Madeline was that Mama did not get a chance to hold her. Now she will meet her and know her in a way that we cannot.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support for our family. We are truly grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people!

Mama was a truly amazing woman and a blessing to us all. She showed us what unconditional love is all about. And we all know she is spoiling Madeline rotten every minute! Travis should be listening for Mama singing Happy Birthday to him this week too. No doubt she will be the first!!! :-) Mom
